Special subjects

We have specialized instructors, according to the different subjects, which strengthen student’s knowledge in specific areas of learning.

Our students connect what they have learned in the different fields to reach a global and integral vision of the world around them.

Music

From Nursery to Third Grade, our specialized teaching program allows us to develop musical skills and abilities according to age through games, songs, body expression, playing minor percussion instruments, and forming Orff ensembles.

Starting in fourth grade, students learn to play a musical instrument; this is how they put into practice all the skills they learned in previous years, expressing themselves through music.

In Spanish, we strengthen the native language of students by developing skills and abilities in the four domains: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. In addition, we have tools such as Plan Lector.

Through it, students discover the wealth of literature through works of interest to young people. Students are exposed to stimulating academic and cultural topics through readings, videos, and activities that reinforce critical thinking.

Our engineering and STEM lessons are designed to help students develop 21st-century skills. Our modern curriculum is based on renowned leading practices and proven methods to improve the quality of learning.

Each lesson is well-structured, hands-on, engaging and fun – just like the real-world experience. The curriculum is designed to help students better understand engineering and STEM concepts. In addition, the lessons are aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and CSTA (Computer Science Standards).

Starting in Sixth Grade, our students study a third language, Italian. In this subject, our students learn about a culture full of history, art, gastronomy, and a unique dialect.

Italian has many common-use words, connecting people from all over the World, opening opportunities for personal growth and professional development.

Our students develop their general and specific motor and technical skills for individual and team sports. Our classes focus on the person and their movement, seeking to raise athletic-sports conditions, healthy competition, and teamwork.

We seek that our students know, live, and transmit a joyful faith that arises from the Love of God the Father and the encounter with Christ, their friend. May they maintain a faithful, coherent Christian life moved by Love. May they harmoniously integrate faith and reason and find hope and motivation for a full and happy life.

It is a subject that aims to, with their parents, teach our students to love genuinely, train them for life, and give them the tools to live fully. It offers practical resources to facilitate the challenging task of helping students develop virtues and values accordingly.
